I have 99 shee with T6 pipes and opened air box. The bike will not idle and has no low end. It seems to me that it is being flooded with fuel. I have 25 pilots in there, and i think those are stock. The carbs are sinked. I just dont think it would be right to have to lower the pilot below stock. If that is stock the pilot. Any help would be great. thanks.

I wouldnt think that is would be to lean. Like i said it acts like it is getting to much fuel. If i let it idle for a min or two and shut it off the plugs are wet. I have messed with the air to fuel a little, but i dont know to much about two strokes.

you should go bigger if its too lean it will act boggy as well. aslo check the float height.

He's probably right... Mine did the same thing w/ similar mods and I went to 27.5's and it fixed it.

Did you check your float height when you pulled the bowls off? Improper float height or a stuck float can cause this. How many turns out are your air screws.

My air to fuel screws are about 2 turns out. The top end works great. Could i have put the slides in backwards? It just seems weird to me that the plugs are wet after idling. That would say to me that it is too rich. But like i said before i dont know to much about two strokes.

you need 27.5 pilot in there more than likely..

what is your gas/fuel ratio? if your bike is sitting and idling its possible all the oil isnt burning off especially if youre running a ratio under 40:1. that could cause your plugs to be wet.

I am running it 32:1 with amsol oil. My local yamaha deal doesn't stock the jet for the shees so i will order some and see what happens. This bike just has been a nightmare! If this dont fix the problem I thinking of selling it and going back to the 4 strokers.

well id say your gas/fuel ratio is part of the problem. amsoil website says their 2 stroke oils are meant to be run at 50:1 and ive heard of people running that shit at like 100:1. youre feeding way too much oil into that engine.

have you had the carbs off?? it REALLY sounds like you have the carb slides in backwards.. swap the slides out of the carbs.. the edge with the arch cut in it should be facing the airbox.. its a common thing that easilt happens if you are not paying attention sometimes.
