FOXBANSHEE30 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 ok i had my banshee jetted great with my stock cages and Boyesen Pro Series Reeds, and just recently i went to the V-Fprce 3's and now i cant even get my Banshee to start, it ran fine for a while but now nothin. I have changed jets, tightened everything a hundred times, new plugs, messed with the screws, and nothin. Should i have to jet up or down or not at all for the new reeds? Or can someone get me in the ballpark with the 2-1 Carb, Fatties, V-Forces, Noss Head, Mild Port, and Clamp on K&N. Thanks for any help guys. Quote
slowblueshee2 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Jetting might go up a touch but not much. It should still fire up. Pull your cages back out. I have heard of v-forces sucking the reed off the cage. Shouldn't with new ones but ya never know. Quote
350BANSHEE350 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 yup shouldnt have to change jetting, you might have an air leak Quote
FOXBANSHEE30 Posted April 22, 2008 Author Report Posted April 22, 2008 how can i check to see if i have an iar leak? i put new gaskets on it... this is pissin me off. Quote
Animalman294 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 I use a can of ether or starting fluid, but you need to have the bike runnin' because the change in idle tells you where the leak is located. Check the basics, spark, fuel and air............. Quote
kawiking Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 like said.. id check the reeds.pull the carbs and just look down and see id u can see or feel if the reeds are still in place Quote
