I took my head lights off the other day and liked the way it looked with out them. But I did not like the big ass mounts sticking up. I thought they were ugly.

Last night, after a couple of beers, I said to hell with the lights and mounts. I cut the light mounts off of the frame, cleaned up the area and shot a little paint on the shock mounts. After I put the fenders back on, and stood back to take a good look, I decieded that I really like it a lot better now. It is just much cleaner looking with out the old banged up head lights and those big ass brakets gone.

Now I just need to get rid of all the extra switches on the handle bars. Is it easy to take off the head light and kill switch or is it more of a pain than what iti is worth dealing with the wiring harness.

I would like to have nothing but a push button type of kill switch like is on a dirt bike. But I would like to keep a working key switch just for when I want to take the key out and have that little bit of security.

I will try and shoot a couple of pictures of it this weekend and post them so you can see what it looks like. I think it looks much better, even on an old beat up Banshee like mine.

The switches on the handlebars is a ground type just like a dirt bike you can unplug it and nothing happens, the key is a loop if you want your bike to run you need to loop it together. I just got rid of all that stuff on my bike, wired the lights without a switch and took off the switches on the handle bars, just have to kill it with the clutch. The price you pay for a lighter frame.
