Bansh-eman Posted April 17, 2008 Report Posted April 17, 2008 I have seen this in a few post lately, Anyone here wanna tell me how to do it? Thanks! what do you mean by strapping the front? do you mean strutting? Quote
C&B Posted April 17, 2008 Report Posted April 17, 2008 what do you mean by strapping the front? do you mean strutting? Dammit B-man i cant concentrate with those titties bouncin in front of me! between u and loco, all i do is look at ur sigs!!! Anyway, do you mean strap the back down.? Ive seen it done. (helped a buddy do it) Run a tie down from the frame to the swinger, takes the shock out of play (like struttin it). Dont reccomend it though. Quote
ItzaBansheeBitch Posted April 17, 2008 Author Report Posted April 17, 2008 no it was mentioned as strapping the susp. We do the same on street bikes when we just wanna run it at the track, Tie-down from the triple to the forks. I just dont see how to apply this to my shee. Quote
badassbanshee479 Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 we do this at the track all the time, hook a tie down to one lower a arm, run it over top of the frame to the other lower a arm, have a buddy stand on the front bumper and reaf her down! helps control wheelies out of the hole, little rough on the set down though. ItzaBansheeBitch Posted April 18, 2008 Author Report Posted April 18, 2008 (edited) Thats what Im talkin about! Thanks man, would I benefit from strapping the front and rear? Edited April 18, 2008 by ItzaBansheeBitch Quote
Bansh-eman Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 aww ghetto way of lowering the bike without it always being like that. never heard of guys doing that before Quote
badassbanshee479 Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 just the front. make it so the bike has to come over center. helps to control wheelies Quote
DEADONE Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 just the front. make it so the bike has to come over center. helps to control wheelies why not just put struts in the front? Quote
badassbanshee479 Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 could do that to, but we where at the track already and we wanted to see if it would help the times any. Quote
ItzaBansheeBitch Posted April 18, 2008 Author Report Posted April 18, 2008 We are there for an exhibition Wheelies and stoppies 2 up and what not, I just also told all the craptor owners that I would kick their ass on the 1340'! So I wont have time to switch shocks for struts. Quote

06BaNsHeE Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 Yea straping the front end really helps. Quote
dante Posted April 25, 2008 Report Posted April 25, 2008 (edited) Warning to all idots! I have seen straps break! But that is your call, its not me getting scared up or hitting the wall for being stupid. Some tracks will not let you run with straps because of this. I have a set of front and rear Marvin Shaws if someone has $$$. The rear shock is low on nitrogen but not leaking. Send IM. Edited April 25, 2008 by dante Quote
