CPI Inframea or Shearer in frames?

On my 2002 that I sold I had CPI pipes and loved them. I was on FAST's website and came across Shearer pipes. How do they compare to CPI? They say they make more hp. How much more? Are there and Dynos that compare they two? What are the pros and cons of each?

From the info i gathered from numerous forums CPI have a grater power range and Shear haves a beter top end for speed. I couldnt say one is better then the other. its all in what your looking for. i hear Vito fat bastard pipes are made by shear and are the best of both worlds but i could be wrong.

Shearers come on later but they do pull harder on the top end. I went with CPI becaues the come on sooner. It isnt always about have the most HP, unless all you do is drag race.

I'll stick with CPI then. I really liked where the power came on with them.

I had 3 different builders recomend shearer's to me. I had been researching a 4mil stock cylinder but ended up going to the cub. The concensus that I gathered was that the shearer's hit every so slightly later but not really that much. Everyone kind of agreed that what was gained up top was worth it. Nobody bad mouthed the cpi's, they just really liked the shearers. I ended up buying my whole cub set up from FAST and jeff told me they are both great pipes, but for what i was building, he really recomended the shearers.

Ya, thats what he told me too. I haven't switched over yet, but then I have some other priorities in my life right now that kinda came up unexpected like.............

 

But when I switch I am going with the Shearers though............
