robert.b.west Posted April 10, 2008 Report Posted April 10, 2008 Does it matter which one I use? If so can you explain why. Thanks. Quote
Dinner Posted April 10, 2008 Report Posted April 10, 2008 The only difference between the two are the "BR" plug is suppose to help with resistance of electrical noise I believe (the R in BR stand for Resistor/Resisted). They are suppose to be better in vehicles so that you don't hear the electrical noise through the radio, etc. So no their isn't much difference between the two other than what I mentioned. You will be safe with either spark plug  Quote

There's a whole bigger heat range than that...low as 6 and high as 11 or so that I know of. If you're running a 100% stock ignition, BR or B plugs are fine. When you start to get into aftermarket coils, aftermarket CDIs they may have a preference on Resistor or not. Quote
