  1. I have one and is in showroom condition...how much do they go for now..or should i hold on to it...let me know soon as i am having seconds thoughts on selling my for 4250.
  2. its a 2006 special edition..has toomey pipes and reeds, everything else is stock except shocks i guess it still has the tors you guys always talk about..don't know how to take them off so don't ask me,...don't know much about atv why hell im an electronics guy...someone suggested i clean air filters..if i take them out all together and run it in the street will that eliminate that possibility since i prob won't get dirt in them..or will that intefere with the air gas ratio?? also does anyone have a carb removal and cleaning manual for dummies...i noticed that everybody needs to clean their carb sooner or later and from what i read..its almost like seasonal or every other year..if there is no manual or instructions here why not..im really suck at mechanics a step by step would be nice.....anyways thanks for any help...if you guys need computer help, networking im your guy...
  3. my banshee was running fine then when i gassed it really fast it began to sputter, now when i try to go in first gear it dies as i try to let the clutch out slowly. I can get out of it but it requires it to be rev'd up high. Can anyone help.
  4. yeah anyone run it in there shee.....come on guys someone reply...
  5. i agree check to make sure whether you have oil or coolant that is causing it...i have the same problem and haven't fixed it yet cause i haven't been riding much. I think its the coolant. So you guys say if its the coolant you just replace the rings?
  6. just put it on rapidshare and let us d/l it...give us the link though
  7. thanks for the info guys...will definitely look at this as first guess...ill report back when i find out..thanks again...
  8. i took my bike riding and was racing my friend...made it to 5th gear and low power..and when i stopped alota white smoke comming out of exaust...any suggestions on what you think this is...hope its not water mixing...any help appreciated..thought id ask before taking apart or calling mechanic...thanks in advance..
  9. hey thanks for the story..im a beginner and im glad that you finished up your problem and told us how the fix went...too bad not everybody does that...they ask for answers and once they get it figured out you never hear from them again...it should be mandatory to let everyone know how the fix is going whether it is ongoing or fixed... I work as a electronic technician...and all logs should be reported as ongoing or closed either way we know whats going on... thanks again for the info..very useful i learned alot...
  10. Ok you got a point his now a premi member ....so what with your attitude.. so because you guys been here for awhile you can't be wrong and be set straight. The only thing i would give you consideration for is your knowledge of banshees other than that we should all be on equal footing on whats proper. So all you old timers cut the attitude...im a member of alot of forum and i see the attitude alot..needless to say i am always the one to point it out. We can all make this site great whether some of us help out 100x or 1x. So lets not diminish anybody here just by how many post they have we can all be helpful...like i use to tell my workers...there isn't anybody here we can't do without..meaning if some of you old timers leave there will be others to take your place and the forum will still thrive...it is when you old timers become elitest and turn off new and old members causing them to leave that this forum will fail..
  11. give'm a break man he spent hours on this, just let'm have his 20 bucks its well worth it and by the way if you get one use out of this video it is well worth it, considering the cost of repairs now adays...Meat you remind me like some of the people at work a cry baby...cut it out...you go around here strutin your stuff like you own the place or something..if you had made the video i would be backing you up also...the 20 bucks is not a big deal..its just a thank you..and yeah im not a donator, you gonna go around cricticizing everyone on here too who doesn't donate...we should all have the same say..unless your a moderator or own the forum, so your no better then any one here..get a life and let nitro tate have his fun...
  12. ahh...electrical problems...could be long or could be short...i don't know the schematics of the banshee...but the first thing i would check is the on off switch...jump it and see what happens..could be why its flickering...if that don't work do what the guy said above about the meter thing..this could be long once you get into that...
  13. Im ready...sign me up...I suggest you set it up for pay pal...since i have an account ill buy it!
  14. you might have done it this way..but from experience get a wood block drill a hole in it the a little bigger then the axle itself and shove the hole axle through it. The bearing should not fit through the hole and when you secure the block so it don't move. Tap the axle from the top end this way you get an even distribution of weight on the bearing...if you did it like this then you did right and ignore this message...just making sure you did it the easy way...
