okay i got 1 link off but now i cant get the chain to connect, its like 1cm away and i have the wheel adjuster pushed in all the way and the bottom roller out, it makes no sence, when i have the chain on it was sagging 2 inches fully tightend, now i cant even get it on, theres gotta be a way, if not ill just buy another master link and have 2 on and just use a skateboard wheel as the bottom roller, its a bit larger and should tighten it up

Welcome to the wonderfull world of the shitty banshee chain adjustment system. There is not enough adjustment. This is one of the reasons a lot of people go to the roundhouse style carrier and swing arm. You may be able to find a half link. Nobody around me carries them. I dont know if they are really that good of an idea anyway.

So are you just going to take back that gold link and get a new standard one "CRAZY" and then flip them the bird when you walk out with the right one .

yes i understand that the chainbreaker is good but that 12 dollars from rocky mountain plus the little shipping you guys pay sint the same as me, it well come to cost me atleast 50 bucks, where could i buy one locally, how does it work?, i figured i could just hack out the stock master and then just buy another master no

and i am still confused on how you ake out another link besides the master, they look like the pins need to be grinded flat so it slides our?, also my dad mentioned if there might be another clip i may need to take our, i got it to budge a little with a pair of channel locks and a screw driver but it would go anymore

Ok I know you have already got it off, but I wanted to answer this question. All the chain breaker does is hold one side of the link and pushes out a pin(on the tool itself) and it pushes out the pin of the chain. So no you dont have to grind it down to get it out, just something to push the pin out with.

So my question is did you only take out one link(Im guessing yes)? And the other is before you took out the link you had the adjustment as tight as it would go and the chain still wasnt tight enough(after loosening the two swingarm bolts ofcourse)?

Oh and yes you should be able to find a chainbreaker at a local atv or motorcycle shop and prob even an automotive store(they might have to order one) if you come accross this in the future.
