bansheeman_05 Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 I am looking to upgrade to a different carb setup on my 05. I would like to stay with the stock intake boots and all, but for a decent price will upgrade there as well. What would you guys recommend for carbs. Are the 2 into 1 setup better that two larger carbs? I believe that you can keep the stock boots up till 30 mm correct? I do mainly trail riding and hill climbing. Thanks in advance. Quote
IrideA250R Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 I'd stick with dual carbs, 28mm Keihin PWK's to be exact. Quote

00tbanshee Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 i bored a set of stock carbs to 27.5mm that would probly be about the cheapest way to go. Quote
dajogejr Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 I think he wants to get rid of the garbage stockers and their design. I'd go a single 33PWK or dual 28PWKs. since you mentioned keeping the same intakes, air box setup...I'd go twin 28s'. Quote
bansheeman_05 Posted April 3, 2008 Author Report Posted April 3, 2008 Thanks for the input fellas. The popular answer seems to be th dual 28's. I think I am going to go with them. Are the Keihin's PWKs pretty much the best you can get? Quote
