jonnyb Posted March 20, 2008 Report Posted March 20, 2008 Hey guys I have a 99 banshee with fmf fatty .20 over piston reeds kn filter 260 mains. My question is the right side smokes more than the left, is the common? Quote
. Posted March 20, 2008 Report Posted March 20, 2008 If its a lot more then there is an issue. This question comes up now and then as far as the smoke goes. Mine is one that does it as well. Putting different carbs on it seems to solve the issue. It is something to do with the casting process of the carbs being different between the 2. The one will run a little richer than the other no matter what you do. This is only the case if you notice the one is smoking more than the other by the slightest bit, not by a lot. Could be a bigger issue like a seal going bad in the bottom end, just wanted to give you an idea if its just a little bit. Quote
man27 Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 Make sure the carbs are in synck.. You can switch the carbs L to R. Quote
sinisterboo Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 if this guy has stock carbs he cant switch side, unless he plugs of the choke tube thing Quote
