meanv10 Posted March 19, 2008 Author Report Posted March 19, 2008 Oh and should i pick up a tether kill switch? Quote
endofitall9 Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 I think its preference, who prefers what! I ru nthe billet on from modquad now I had the dm design and snapped a chain and although it didn't take a chunk out of my cases it flexed and cracked them in the usual place so I got rid of that pos real quick. since then I've thrown the chain i don't know how many times and it has done very well! tethers are real handy wouldn't ride my quad without it. meanv10 Posted March 19, 2008 Author Report Posted March 19, 2008 Also i have stripped studs on both rear hubs, what years could i get that would fit my banshee, its an 88 thanks Quote
shudakeptquiet Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 thanksIs 60 bucks reasonable? IMO- TMdesignworks is the only one to get. I just bought one for $49 on their site. I like the design and material. A billet one won't flex, it'll just snap. Quote
. Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 (edited) go with the poly, I've seen so many busted cases from billet savers, they are fine if they work, but if they snap you got quite a bind, and the poly will flex farther than the billet, allowing less chance for a snap. oh yeah, I saw the hp/torque amount for your charged v10, whats it getting for gas mileage? differentstrokes Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 Definitely go with the plastic, I had a billet saver and once it takes a hit it becomes scrap. Like mentioned above, the plastic will allow for more flex. Quote

I get around 10 when doing heavy off road/ 4 wheel drive or city driving, but i can get up to 12 to 13 on the highway, unless your plating in the boost it really is the same as a normal v10, but its easier said than done. did you see the dyno sheet on Kenne bells web site?
