loud exhaust? please help

can i take the stuff out of my silencers to get a louder sound without hurting anything?? not much money trying to make do with what i got.

Won't hurt anything. Back pressure is created in the header.

But where is the end of the header located? You don't want that exhaust mixed with air intake!

in my opinion it will run the same if not better but i`m sure it will sound like shit and you will be shot at. so if you live in or ride threw the Springfield area of (Shamokin P.A.) i would suggest you dont do that.

If you still have the stock silencers on it, there isn't any packing in them. They only have an end cap, and you can remove them, but it won't do much for it.

It just makes the bike have a different sound, and adds no power.

it is not origianal pipes in rear i done had them apart there is packing in them. im going to try it out i will let u guys know how it worked out

i toke the packing out of my silencers and put my end caps back on. Man does it sounds good and my top end feels a lot better now. :thumbsup:

Try drilling holes in the SILENCERS. Like some young low budget import car owners do with there mufflers.
