Dirk Diggler Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 Hey guys I'v been watching the site for a while but just joined today to ask a question. I have been reading alot about overrides but was a little unclear about something. For a Dunable Override. Can you shift up AND down without the clutch or just up and you need to use the clutch to go down? Quote
Dirk Diggler Posted February 29, 2008 Author Report Posted February 29, 2008 no one? i figured there would be alot of feedback... Quote
00tbanshee Posted March 3, 2008 Report Posted March 3, 2008 i have a dunable and i never tried to shift down without the clutch but heard of people saying they do but i don't think i would recommend it.but shifting up without the clutch it works great. Quote
wesw Posted March 3, 2008 Report Posted March 3, 2008 up shift under power, then come to stop down shift seems to work the best. drag racing yes you can downshift it but i would use the clutch. Quote
dajogejr Posted March 3, 2008 Report Posted March 3, 2008 I wouldn't downshift without the clutch on any tranny, especially an override, dunable or regular. With the clutch, no problem (downshifting) Quote
