350BANSHEE350 Posted February 23, 2008 Report Posted February 23, 2008 it idles and revs fine sitting still, but when i go to take off out of first or down low it bogs pretty bad, bad enough that it struggles to get going again when i pull the clutch in, so i would assume that its either my floats or pilot jet mods t-5 filter 250 mains stock pilots (25) needle is on the 2nd clip going down from blunt end. tried air screws at 1 turn, 2 turns, and 2 and a half turns and still does it so kinda leans more towards the floats being off measure. thanks guys Quote

Is your air box open or closed with the filter you have listed? Your jetting doesn't seem all that odd. Have you tried pulling your carbs off and cleaning them? Checked your crossover? I'd pull them and clean them before you do anything else. Quote
350BANSHEE350 Posted February 23, 2008 Author Report Posted February 23, 2008 3600 ft above sea level i added the tors on so they were cleaned then and they havnt been through any dirt nothing like that the cross over tube on the intake? i know the choke tube it on and i know there isnt any cracks in the cross over tube etc its all great shape thanks and sorry bout not mentioning the elevation, im just getting a little mad i want it to run good and it super anoying Quote
rubberneck Posted February 24, 2008 Report Posted February 24, 2008 (edited) Are the carbs in sync? Try rasing the needle a notch or two and see if it helps (lower the clip) Edited February 24, 2008 by rubberneck Quote
350BANSHEE350 Posted February 24, 2008 Author Report Posted February 24, 2008 if i raise the needle another notch (lower it again) then it would be on the 1st clip and i dont like that, not to mention its lean enough with the 250s right now as it is (weather wise) it seemed to not be so fussy when i had the air screws out 1 turn rather then 2 1/2 turns, so does anyone think i need a 27.5 pilot? if not how you do adjust floats? please help guys i want to ride bad and its finally completed and im sick of working on it LOL Quote
kawiking Posted February 24, 2008 Report Posted February 24, 2008 my buddy has had the same problem.... we still cant figure it out. Quote

Try the 4th postition from blunt and see how it goes. Quote
