gumby6t9 Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 If it was me I would be tempted... Quote
TurboBanshee420 Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 It would be a good deal if you got another banshee instead of 900 Quote
IrideA250R Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 I'd pass. Quadzilla's are notoriously unreliable, and finding parts for them really, really sucks. Take that 900 dollars and get some better pipes, a timing advance plate, have the head shaved, and get some sort of air intake for your Banshee. Quote
pasedogg Posted February 12, 2008 Author Report Posted February 12, 2008 nah he gives me $900. i bought the bike for $2200 paid 120 for gas to ge tthe good deal.75 to put it inmy name and all that, the dude is sellin the quadzilla for 3200 but hed take 2800. 500cc single cylinder liquid cooled. There are only 3 hours on top end rebuild. It is port and polished, has a FMF fatty pipe and a FMF gold series silencer, aftermarket suspension(Unknown brand), new high flow reeds, aftermarket handle bars and lights. Very good condition for its adge plus $900 traded for my banshe 1999 uni air filter, dg headers,TORS removed Quote
Michael Jackson Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 (edited) everyones definition of "all done up" is different.. so who knows.. dont guys also recomend the newer cylinder, didnt the 87 have only 4 bolts on the head and blow head gaskets all the time? Yup, If you're lookin for a zilla make it the 89' Quote
sheerider1026 Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 (edited) man i am nor trying to sound like a hater but i think all those lt250's and the zillas were junky, i have seen may broken frames, a arms are junk, and they are very hard to find parts for. i would stay away from that deal, there is a reason they quit making them i am sure. Wildcardracing Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 there is a reason they quit making them i am sure. Yea, Suzuki got sued because some kid went and got himself killed on a 500 so it scared them out of the whole sportquad scene all together. Quote
sheerider1026 Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 thats messed up, whoever let that kid ride the bike needs to be icked in the nuts!! i just think they are turning into dinosaurs, and most that is left of them are bones and dust!! Quote
BansheeRider71 Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 Keep your shee, if its unreliable you can always find parts an turn it into an extremely fast bike, id would rather ride soemthing 20 years old vs something that was only around for 3 years- the honda 250R is the only exception because I have rode a friends 250R along time ago. At least you know what you got with your banshee an if it breaks all of the people here on the HQ are willing to help you fix it with thier advice. Quote
MarineNYC Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 Think about it. The Zilla guy wants a Banshee. That should say it all. Quote
Wildcardracing Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 I agree, keep your banshee. My banshee walked all over a piped and ported zilla last fall at a drag (guy riding zilla may have outwieghed me by 100lbs.) Quote
