When I pull out the choke to try to start it up, it doesn't "stick" out. It will just shoot back in. Also, sometimes when it does stick and it starts up - - it doesnt seem to affect it with like the high idle and what not. Anything I can do to fix?

Mine did this also, I replaced the o-ring and it is back to normal now.

You can either do that or buy a new choke knob assembly from Yamaha...........they're like $20. Sometimes the o-ring doesn't fix it if the detents are worn out. :geek:

Mine has been like that for the past 2 years, I just hold it out...No biggie..

I have looked into replacing it ad the cheapest Ive found it for is $33...I rather spend the money somewhere else on the shee...
