blueboy22 Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 i've been told i need to check my reeds...i've always took my quad in the shop when it need anything..now i just dont have the money or time to do that. so how would i go about checking my reeds.how messy would this get? anyone take me through a short process on how to do this? thanks! okbeast Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 Pull the airbox or filters, pull the carbs, take out the allen screws and the airboots will come off and the reeds will be right there. 10 min. process maybe. Quote

BansheeRider71 Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 Checking your reeds is an easy task, like stated before take your air box off an take your carbs off an take out those 8 allen screws an pull them out an there you have it. You may get a little gass on you from taking the carbs off but its no big deal. Quote
