maxb750 Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 Hey guys, I have an 02 Shee with the carb kit(no tors). It only dies if i try and idle for a while but stays alive with a bit of throttle. It runs perfectly thru all rpm's so i'm thinking its the idle adjustment. Each carb has a brass screw to adjust, correct?? Turn them both in(clockwise) to increase the idle...correct?? The carb on the left won't turn any more clockwise and I haven't really messed with the right one........any advice is appreciated....thanks, Max It hasn't been run for a few months and may be loaded up....could this be the problem and maybe it just needs to be run a bit?? foxracing350 Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 weird mine does the exact same thing Quote
Screaming Yellow Zonker Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 I would check and make sure your jets are clean. If the pilot jet is clogged it will cause it not to idle. Good luck. Quote
kojack Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 Did it run fine in the summer? IN the winter the air is thicker and you may need to go to a bigger pilot. Mine idles fine in the summer and barely does in the winter due to it leaning out. Quote
maxb750 Posted December 25, 2007 Author Report Posted December 25, 2007 i'll check out the carbs....thanks, max Quote
