well i just took it off and put it back on finishing up some work so i was wonderin how tight it goes on

i used a big monkey wrench and just tightend it till it would roll or try to (i had it in 1st)

then i just sat on the tire and gave it another snug and put that lock washer on that you need to fold over it

is that good enough

wow thats insane i dont even got a socket big enough

so i weigh 140 should i just use most of my weight on the monkey wrench

are you talking about the lock nut on the axle or the 6 nuts/bolts that hold the sproket?

the book calls for the axle locknut to be like 88 lbs and the 6 nuts to be 44lbs. i dont torque either of them just tighten it down and bend ther tabs if u have them. they wont come off as long as you get them nice a snug

no the front sprocket

from the case

i just put it in 1st and tightend it down until it wanted to roll then i sat on the back tire and gave it a good snug not all my weight just a good nudge down

then i bent the washer with the tab down

think thats good enough or should i go and push down with all my weight?

i wouldnt do that unless the chain is hooked up and tires on the ground, you would put a lot of unneeded pressure on your tranny. Just snug it and bent the lock tab.
