well guys, i might be losing some money here, need your opinion (racing)

I uh bet some dudes with a 450R and a 500 preditor that i could beat em. Im not so sure though. I rode the prediter and it was not very impressive but the 450 i know is fast, they all are. so what do ya think, straight line. All i do is drag race so im pretty good, rarely ever screw up. They dont ride that much. Is it gonna be a riders race? They think they are the fastest people on earth so theyll bet anything.

Is the 450 stock ?

How long of a race ? too long and that pred. will ride right by both of you

it's top speed should be more than either bike.

Dont run for money then if you are having second thoughts, you can't win them all, sometimes you'll will win and some you will loose,

what do you have done to your bike?

Lets say your are stock, and wanna play it safe..

How does sleeper sound..

Through a set of pipes, reeds, bump your compression,port job, timing advance etcccc and dont say anything then line em up..... :biggrin:

What mods do you have? What mods do they have? The predator will not be faster than a Banshee on the top end if you both have stock gearing. The 450s are fast, if you are just piped with reeds and filter, is will be close, the 450 may won, depending on the mods. The predator piped should not be a problem, my friend has one.

There are so soo many variables its not just whos quads faster. Its #1 Traction where are you guys racing pavement? #2 Getting a good start and shifting corectly (Ide let my RPMs go untill its time to shift keep on the throttle while shifting but dont mess up) #3 What mods do you have against the mods he has? Tire size/Tread left on the tires and gearing play a big role in this.

 

If your not ported but you have all of the boltons like I do and he has a pipe and filter with no head porting you should be able to take him but know your not a shoe in. Those 450s are fast. Do it if you can afford it and you know everything about his bike.
