Bought an 88 banshee at the end of the summer. went ridding a few times and the last 2 i had steam coming out of the radiator. I know that cant be good, when that happened i was running 32:1 premium gas with koltz synthetic oil. could this be the reason? what mix do you guys run on a stock banshee? I know that there hasn't been any jet work done to i and it has the stock exhaust and air filter ( replaced when bought) any advise? thanks.

Generally, when the gear fails, it really fails so you should be able to kick the bike over with the impeller cover off and inspect for good rotation. However, if the impeller is bad, the cover is coming off anyway.
