Here is the best update I can give you...

 

Gregs plastics are done, shipped them out monday. Sucks that he got the runaround on them and the ended up in my bro and Is hands due to the lazyness of someone else, but never the less, the plastics are done and we cut greg a great deal since he has had nothing but hell on his build this year...

I am meeting mike sunday to return his rail I have been storing and getting gregs part back from mike. I will ship it back to greg ASAP.

I will be the first one to say, I will not do any business with majicperformance again. After this deal and my last motor build, ive taken my business else where.

 

Well...it's no secret I've always liked Mike and dealing with him, even if I only bought a few things off him here and there.

 

It's too bad things went down like that.

 

Also like to say thanks to theshee for being a stand up guy and going out of his way 100% to help out a fellow member.

That kind of person is becoming few and far between now a days...and that's just too bad.

(P.S. Did you remember to ghost flake the hidden cock and ball graphics in Greg's plastic...so when the sun hits it just right.....)

another update.. Im not meeting mike sunday, he is trading his rail to my bro and I for the $$ he owes us so I will not need to meet him. I told him to mail greg his part, so as of now, Im out of the middle of gregs mixup with mike.

 

dave... damn, why didnt I think to do that for greg, I know he would have like a little suprise in his plastics.

man thats a whole fucked up deal. ive never bought anything from them but im glad i never did just because i wouldnt wanna be fucked around. wonder if hell come to the site to try and make shit right with the people involved and to give some kind of reason as to why this happened?

While I can't speak for Mike or Kiel regarding their dealings, myself (only a few dealings) and more so my friend jankab have had a TON of dealings with Mike and have always had good results. if there was a problem, which...hey, no one is perfect...it got worked out and it was all good.

 

I know Mike has had some personal things in life take a bad turn lately...and it's not my business or place to say any more than that about it.

 

He's always done right by me. I'm sorry this happened to Greg, I'm sorry he had issues with Kiel...but let's not all jump on the bandwagon and kick him while he's down. He's made plenty of people happy as well...

 

Now if a bunch more people chime in and have legitmate gripes over past business with him...than so be it.

 

But I think all of you know I'm on the forums all day long, not much gets by me. And Greg and Kiel are the first I know to have issues with him of this size....

 

We can't make all make everyone happy all the time...

If bigred and bonbon see this post there will be two more unhappy fellas. Bonbon bought a "ported" cub, and got a bone stock cub cylinder, but thats not my deal, if he wasnts to chime in about it then he can.

 

I will fully explain where him and I went sour...

 

He had my banshee motor down there for 3 months and was suppose to be putting a dune port on the stock cylinders with the 370 crank, having my carbs bored, and getting it all assembled. 3 months go by, and there is ZERO progess on the motor, just 1 ported cylinder, which is ruined. The porting is uneven, and there are gouges too deep to fix in it, and the intakes are way uneven. By the time you got both sides the same there would be nothing left in the intakes. Then when I finally said I wanted my motor back, he as all pissed about it. It is MY motor, I should be able to come get it if I want.

Also, paid him to get a set of RDZ oversize carb bowls back in July for my 10mil, never got them, and all he will say is he forgot to order them.

That is what did it for me, and this is why all my business is going to FAST now, because I can get him on the phone when I want, not when its convenient for him.

its seeing stuff like this that makes me glad i buy my shit from FAST... cuz jeff is about an hour from me and id be in his shop harassing him! haha. :biggrin:

 

all kidding aside, im sure hes got good reasons for the things that have happened. i just hope he lets the parties involved know what they were..

Kiel is right, I got fucked. I didn't say much about it at the time but I'm not usually the guy to call people out on shit. But between what Kiel, Greg, Jared, some people we've met at KP, and I have seen over the last couple months, Mike has been fuckin with people.

 

Here was my deal.......

I wanted to get a 65mm bore stock stroke cub. Mike said no problem. He couldn't get a hold of the 65mm bore so I said go ahead and get the 68mm bore if you can get it quicker. He split the difference in price with me for the pistons and domes. Cool. I wanted my parts by Labor Day. I was getting 20cc big bore domes, but then he sold the only set he had on hand out from under me and I got stuck with 17cc's. I agreed to that and he was gonna send me 20's when he got them and let me keep the 17's. No problem. He finally shipped my parts out on the wednesday before labor day weekend. Said they were overnighted. So I took friday off of work to put my motor together and go ride. Well the parts showed up on friday night and the box said UPS ground. Overnight my fucking ass. So right there I lost out on $250 for not working that day of the week. After this I decided I had no need to ever do any business with him again and just get the parts he owed me and forget about it (I hadn't heard of any other problems with him, maybe mine was a one time deal for him). Oh and I also had to buy race gas (which I did NOT want to have to run, hence 20cc domes) but said I would for having to use the 17's. Well that cost me another $140 that I did NOT need to spend. He got me the 20cc domes after I talked to him about them several times and when I took my head off apparently something is wrong with the 17's that were in there. The left side piston was tapping the dome. My squish was good when I put the motor together and I don't know what happened there, but now I am also out of a topend for $160 that I should not have needed. I have had ZERO problems with the 20cc domes. He thought a billet gas cap and some acorn nuts for my head were a good way to apologize for the problems. Whatever.

 

EDIT:

There was also the clean up port Mike said he did for me because it was taking a while to get it all together........jack shit. I can pull it apart and show you some pics there is nothing done. I can't complain much about that because I paid nothing for a clean up port, but I was told that there was one done. Bullshit.

i sent mike an email today and he said he would take care of my part this weekend. so we will see. i have kind of let it go until he has a chance to take care of it. i usually wont call someone out in a public forum but enough was enough.

 

i cant thank kiel enough for helping me out! if the world was filled with dudes like him we wouldbe set!

I've seen quite a few people get raped over the whole clean up thing. I didn't pay a dime for clean up from Jeff on my 4 mil last year, and he did a fantastic job on it... I'm sure SoCalinIt will vouch, he has my old motor. I cleaned up my 10 mil, but no where NEAR as good as Jeff did...

 

As said, I haven't done a lot of biz with Mike, but my boy has...however, my buddy never had a motor done by Mike.

About the dome. It may have been cut wrong or my crank may be going. I have no idea right now. With the 20cc's I have pulled my head back off once and there is no sign that anything is hitting. Makes me believe that the problem was in the dome.

If it squished out right, something else it wrong...

Either a worn bearing or the head/dome was improperly installed and it moved..etc.

 

What did it squish out at...just for conversations sake...and did you check both sides, parallel with the wrist pin?

 

 

Loco...I'm thinking Mike's side is tails right now...that's sure what he's getting kicked in...

I traded a bike with mike a ways back and the trade deal went well, but a month or two later there was a lot of trash-talk that started up comming from mikes side, and it seemed to start when I took my business to lynn at LC performance. All in all, I never had any shitty deals from mike personally, our trade went well, but the shit-talking changed my view of him. Then he tried to tell me that the YFZ450 I traded him was burning oil and blah blah blah, which it never was when I traded with him. Then I ran into some guys at KP who had some really shitty dealings with him, which was where I found out he was putting some really shady used parts into engines he was selling people. NOT COOL. I helped them rebuild one of their engines and tune another that mike put together for them and said was "all set up, ready to ride" but was jetted all ridiculous. To top it off, mike claimed that the cylinders on the bike he traded me were ported by him when he fucked up kiels cylinders, but when I first traded my YFZ450 for the banshee I got from him he told me a place down in colorado called colorado powersports (or something like that, cant remember) did the porting. And after looking at the pictures of what he did to kiels cylinders I can garuntee everyone that mike did NOT do the porting on the cylinders that were on the bike I got from him.

 

Long story short, from the people I've met and talked to and my personal dealings with mike, he's been telling people lies about his services and his products trying to make a dollar. Shady way of doing business and I can tell everyone straight up, I won't ever do ANY business with him ever again.

 

I checked over the cylinders jon (bonbon) got from mike and I can tell everyone that those cylinders were NOT touched whatsoever. They were factory cast cub cylinders. I've had 3 different sets of cleanup and ported cubs from two different builders and have pics of all of them and I've also had more than a few sets of stock cubs through my hands and jon was scammed. He got a set of STOCK cub cylinders when he was told he would be getting cleanup ported cubs.

 

DONT DO BUSINESS WITH MAJICPERFORMANCE. Mike lies to his customers trying to get a buck and tells lies about people who have taken business elsewhere after dealing with him.

 

I've had great luck dealing with K&T (even though kim can be a dick sometimes), LC Performance, jeff at FAST, A&S... I have heard too many bad stories and seen too many lies from mike to ever do business with him again and suggest to anyone who asks to take business elsewhere.
