Sand near Los Angeles?

hey guys, I'm doing some testing and need some sand. Dumont and Pismo too far for the day.

Someone said there's some dunes out at Jawbone. I've never been there.

Razor Rd has some dunes. It's off the 15. Not sure if that would be any closer. Most desert areas have SOME bits of sand.

there is a place called milestone park out by bloomington where people go to drag there banshee's you can find more info on the net.and yes it is sand.

Fontana has a river bed that attracts quite a few testers on the weekends. It's off of the 10 freeway. Take the 10 east from LA, exit Cedar and go south (right). Turn left on the first or second street (slover) and you will run right into it after a mile or so.

 

Take a look at google earth, you will see it.

 

Never any problems with the cops but it tends to draw a few of the local rednecks. These guys have no clue when it comes to safety!

Couldn't find Milestone park is it in bloomington? Is the place your talking about in Fontana out by Pepper st or is it at the actual river bed.
