Screaming Yellow Zonker Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 Did you split the case or just do a top end rebuild? Quote
RagunCajun Posted November 19, 2007 Report Posted November 19, 2007 I did it for the first time in may i think. I just fallowed the clymer manual and it was fine. Just take your time. First time takes the longest because it's all new to you. Quote

flattrakker Posted November 19, 2007 Author Report Posted November 19, 2007 im just trying to get it running before winter falls on me soon. i ride all winter every day so thats why.. im planning on getting some cheeta cubs in the future and ill get them drag ported. Quote
sheerider1026 Posted December 11, 2007 Report Posted December 11, 2007 i would say an important thing to watch is when installing the cylinder (when u slide the piston into the jug) make sure your ring gaps arewhere they should be(locater pins in the rings grooves of the piston) .. also double check your circlips to make sure they are seated, its catastrophe if one comes out.. hope this helps.. samc Posted December 11, 2007 Report Posted December 11, 2007 get ring gap checked, put a little 2stroke oil on the gaskets to help seal, put a little 2stroke oil on the crank, dip your finger in 2stroke oil and smere it all around on the cylinders make sure you snug them cylinders down doing the criss cross pattern and most importantly! TAKE YOUR TIME! i messed up once on the blaster rushing to get it back together and i ended up installing the piston backwards which left me mind puzzled! untill i ripped it back apart for the 3rd time!
