is it just me or is all gas tanks a bitch to get in and out? is there any special way(s) to get in in and out

I'd be willing to bet that your frame is bent downwards where your steering stem mounts. My old 87 was damn near impossible to get out and my new 2005 slides in and out like butter. Hope i could help.

well, it's hitting the steering stem. right were the bars mount on.

if its hitting your frame is tweeked. it should not touch. they slide in and out very ez

so... about how much would a new frame run me? is there any way to just straighten it ?

I dont think buying a new frame would be necessary.. This happens alot, that is a very weak part or a banshee frame..

You will be able to bend it back, many def people have done it many different ways just take your time.. Whiel your at it you should have some gussets welded in there to make it strong again after you bend it back...

Do a search here and gussets and bending the steering loop.. there are tons of threads on it..

people have used come-alongs jacks muscle, just do a search.....

thanx for all the help. i uses to tie downs and a jack on the side of a tree and got the back end it the air and just sat on it and kept puttin pressure till it was in the right position.
