  1. well, what would be the best combination if i just want a all round banshee, something thats good on straightaways and woods, pipes? port? and all that
  2. whats the main power difference from a woods port and dune port? and to answer locogato11283's questions. what type of riding do you do? mostly woods and straightaways how much money are you willing to spend? however much it takes to beat ppl with just port/polish pipes and boost bottle. are you knowledgeable about taking a whole banshee motor apart? i have it all apart right now couse of not being able to account for all the peices of the piston when it blew up. are you willing to take the time to properly test and tune your bike? yes
  3. well, with a budget i have no clue what ill have. i'm trying to get a set price and everything figured out so i know how much i need to start saving. i ride woods , and a good bit of straightaways, and a lil road riding.

  7. im hopefully gonna have a manual by the end of this month. is there anybody is the lancaster p.a. area on here that has any experience with this?
  8. well i was gonna just rebuild the top end till i got the head off and found that the bottom of the piston was shattered off. cant seem to find any of the peices and i dont think they made there way out the exhoust . so... im guessing my best bet would be is to go pick up a manual and start tearing the engine apart. anyone have any opinions or suggestion? im guessing this is best to make sure there nothing down there to screw me in the long run.
  9. thanx for all the help. i uses to tie downs and a jack on the side of a tree and got the back end it the air and just sat on it and kept puttin pressure till it was in the right position.
  10. well, there was chance and hope till we broke 3 easy outs and the vise grips shredded the rest that was left. but i have a friend thats a machinest and hes gonna check with one of his buddies at work and get me a price to just drill out the old stud and weld it all shut and re-tap it.

  13. well, it's hitting the steering stem. right were the bars mount on.
  14. is it just me or is all gas tanks a bitch to get in and out? is there any special way(s) to get in in and out
  15. well i got a dremell and cut it off. once i got it offi tried using a bolt extractor to get the stud out. well now i onlu have from the journel to were ever the bolt ends. i think im pretty much f**cked at this point.
  16. does the set of carbs include the throttle cables to? and the rubber that goes from the carb to the air box?

  18. well i just bough a 03 limited edition thats blown up. i got all the bolts off exept for the right cylinder nut. its stripped. its on the right cylinder in the front left. anyone have that bolt stripped b4? any suggestion how the get it off? and best place to buy new ones.
  19. well i just bought a 2003 limited edition that was blown up. so the kid b4 me decided to take the carbs off to put on his other banshee and sell it. so i need the carbs and cables that go to the throttle. i aint gonna have much money for a lil while so im just seeing if anybody has any layin around or were i could get a good deal at.
