inthemail Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 (edited) grab the bfh????? Big Fuckin Hammer. hold the jug and pull on it both hands while a friend taps on the piston witch suggested BFH and a block of wood to avoid a slip into the cylinder wall. Edited November 14, 2007 by inthemail Quote
Screaming Yellow Zonker Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 Pry Bar and a hammer. I have a good crank I am willing to part with. Quote
swrbansheeboy Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 place a chunk of wood on the piston crown then wail on it with a big ass hammer, dont pound directly on the piston because you could slip and hit the cylinder wall! if it's still within salvagable spec's i'd hate to see you beat on it and ruin it. just because your piston and crank are hammered doesnt mean that your cylinder should be also... Wildcardracing Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 Pry Bar and a hammer. I have a good crank I am willing to part with. Try rotating the jug, this may free up the siezed S.O.B. why is it always the left cylinder, what a mess! Quote
FireHead Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 grab the bfh????? bfh = big fucking hammer You may wind up need a press to get that one apart. Quote
J-Madd Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 Try rotating the jug, this may free up the siezed S.O.B.why is it always the left cylinder, what a mess! I always had bad luck with the right cylinder. :verymad: Anyway, I have a couple of stock cranks lying around if interested. Quote
HardIzZlE Posted November 15, 2007 Author Report Posted November 15, 2007 (edited) finally poped out just put some wd40 on it to loosen it up than push it down with a crow bar thx again ppl ps: when i bought the quad the guy said he had a wesico crank in it but the rods say hot rods. Do hot rods make cranks or do they just make rods to put in any crank ? Edited November 15, 2007 by HardIzZlE Quote
inthemail Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 dirty. cylinder doesnt look awful, good excuse to get a portpolish I think hotrods makes an assembled crank......? Quote
