allstarbanshee Posted November 9, 2007 Report Share Posted November 9, 2007 I wouldnt do the vein in a hi traffic area, the vein will eventually rub down and turn black, there is no cure for this. ITs just the natural tendency of the powder. A clear coat or as you mention a red top coat will help but in time it will still turn black. Just a thought good luck to ya.ive done the regular silver vein and ive topcoated it with blue, red, yelllow, green, purple, and orange. the blue and green veins are my fav. That's what I was thinking.. i sat and stared at my axle this morning and visualized the different color schemes and I think the axle in black and the srpocket/brake hubs in the red vein will look best...plus the rear tire hubs are vein red already..
