highroller355 Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 should i pay for shipping or the seller i bought some shocks they not as explained rite off the bat 1 inch shorter then what they were suppose to be, 2 they were soft not stiff. he sent me my money back but i think due to his fuck up he should pay for shipping also, i shouldnt have to lose out on 20-25 dollars. i offered to split the shipping back to him he said i didnt split shiping the first time and i reminded him i did but now im so pissed i think he should have to pay for the whole shipping. im going to let the hq members help solve this please post thanks tommy everyone nows i dont like to screw anyone over so i would like for you guys to help settle i will do the majority Quote
theshee Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 Id just cut my loss and move on if it was me. Ive taken it in the ass quite a few time on shipping stuff around, but I keep my reputation by just letting things go and moving on. That just what I prefer to do. I hate making a big deal about things. Quote

White06Shee Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 Everone please remember, he paid for $60 for the shocks and $10 for shipping, becuase i split the shipping with him, i ended up givving him his $70 bucks back, and yet to recive my shocks, for the money i have returned to him, im already out like $12 bucks for splitting the cost of shipping, and he wants me to pay another $25 for the shipping back to me, he has the full amount which he gave to me back, and i dont have the shocks. any replys negative or positive will be appreciated thank richard Quote
shee4speed Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 Just get the parts sent back to seller.Figure out the total shipping cost and split it. Seems like it was an honest mistake. So Split the shipping and call it good! Quote

Meat Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 The argument that the shocks are too soft or too stiff can't be used against White06Shee, BUT the problem with the shocks being one inch shorter is a problem. Since the shipping was split the first time, it was agreed upon at the time and now that part of the deal is done, it doenst mean that it should be split on the return shipping. Seller is has refunded the money for the shocks plus the original shipping and now wants to Highroller to split the return shipping. The seller clearly made a mistake with the one inch short shocks, so why should Highroller be obligated to split the return shipping costs ?? There is no reason Highroller should technically be paying for half of the return shipping..... but.... on the other hand.... half of 25 bucks is only 12 bucks.... Highroller might want to consider just paying the measly 12 bucks to rid himself of the grief. But techinally, white06Shee should pay all the return shipping, and shouldnt have had to pay back the original $10 dollars shipping cost. That orignial shipping agreement should have been a done deal. It sucks the shocks didnt work out, but the orginal shipping split cost should have been taken as a loss by highroller. Props to White06Shee for refunding that $10 shipping cost. If the shipping costs were in the hundreds of dollars this could be a big deal, but come on guys, we're talkin $25 bucks return shipping. Agree that a mistake was made and the mistake was not done intentially and agree to split the return shipping for the sake of good karma. Quote

Meat Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 (edited) so soft that when i sat on the bike it bottomed out oh jeez.... and he didnt inform you they were blown out..... I was under the impression they were just a little too soft for your taste... but hell, you can't be usin' shocks like that. white06shee, wtf man, you should be really clear on these kinda details, that is a major detail. Plus the fuckers were in inch short. Maybe white06shee should just pay up the entire return shipping and chalk it up as a face saving mistake. Edited November 1, 2007 by Meat Quote

Washburn Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 Like I said in the first post I made on this you should be covered plus shipping. This happened to me once I got some 8in douglas rims that were all torn to shit and it dident show that in the photo so I demanded my money back and I told him Ide ship them back to him. He sent me my 52.50 back but no money to ship them back so I kept them. I figured why spend my own money cause of someone elses mistake. Quote
