Is the rear shock worth reworking? And I weigh 185 lbs what spring should I get from TCS? My riding style is fast and hard but mainly dunes. I had mine done by Shane and it works great but I don't think he is around any more... haven't heard from or about him in a while. ranshee Posted November 2, 2007 Report Share Posted November 2, 2007 The stock rear shock on a banshee is not a bad shock at all. You can have it re valved and sprung for your weight. A re-build & re-spring on that shock is between $300. and $400. depending on what kind of riding you do and the equipment you run. With the Banshee the biggest benefit you'll get from a rebuild is traction. These bikes have so much explosive power that it is hard to transfer that to the ground. He did mine a couple years ago and WOW what a diference...
