So I want to get the rear of my shee to handle better, so I was thinking of revalving it and then getting a spring from TCS. Is the rear shock worth reworking? And I weigh 185 lbs what spring should I get from TCS? My riding style is fast and hard but mainly dunes.

The rear shock is definately rebuildable. I had mine done by Shane and it works great but I don't think he is around any more... haven't heard from or about him in a while. I've heard lots of good things about TCS so I'm sure they could hook you up.

The stock rear shock on a banshee is not a bad shock at all. You can have it re valved and sprung for your weight. A good shop to have it done at is precision concepts in SD. Have a few friends that have done this and love it.

Hey Ruko! I'm still around and building suspension. I haven't been around HQ in awhile because the flamers really got to me. We tried to give a little back to Lee by sponsoring the suspension forum and it wasn't a good experience.

Thanks, Shane

wow !! how much would it be to revalve one ??
Just revalving is not an option on the Banshee rear shock. A re-build & re-spring on that shock is between $300. and $400. depending on what kind of riding you do and the equipment you run.

With the Banshee the biggest benefit you'll get from a rebuild is traction. These bikes have so much explosive power that it is hard to transfer that to the ground.
