smeagol Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 my razrs are wore out. i've got a 421 cub with +2 swingarm with limited jumping , also what height of rear tire Thanks, smeagol Quote
smeagol Posted October 17, 2007 Author Report Posted October 17, 2007 another question, will a stock length swing arm be effective to stop all the spinning Quote
locogato11283 Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 personally id stick with the +2 swingarm. i would run 20x11x9 kenda knarlys or stock rear yfz450 tires. both of these are good tires. they wear very well, they hook hard and they are relatively inexpensive in comparison to other tires.. gipperz Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 Loco's done ALOT of tire testing and knows what works, but I would like to throw out one more idea. I been using Kenda klaws front and rear for trail riding. I use 22's front and rear for clearance reasons. I like them but I would love to try some Kenda knarly's. Good luck on your hunt for the right tire. Just my .02 Quote
peterlocal22 Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 (edited) kenda klaws 23 inch for front the reason is because this will give you great riding height for the woods and trails. i run them and there awsome Edited October 18, 2007 by peterlocal22 Quote
SHEE157 Posted October 20, 2007 Report Posted October 20, 2007 I rock the Knarleys on my LTR all the way around and love them, although the razr's i have on the shee are nice too. But they are a bit worn out these days, need a new set myself. Quote
Washburn Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 Thats alot of motor for that kind of riding and the extended swingarm doesnt help matters but going back to a stocker would probably leave you standing up comming out of those ruts and that could lead to some painfull expirences. But if your spinning that bad and the new tires dont work mabey you could try a stock one again just be carefull and get the feel of how the bike will handle. Ide try out some 22in fronts and 20in rears Razr 2s would be my choice. They have great controll in the ruts the big lugs get you in and if it changes to an unexpected rut at higher speeds they will pull you rite out and they wont leave you hung up on an edge, good transition tire for that type of riding because of the tread design  Quote
smeagol Posted October 29, 2007 Author Report Posted October 29, 2007 just got klaw xcrs 20-11-8s, still have razr 22s in front, spun down my rear shock abit for ride height. Man these are the best rears ever. I'll never be able to outride this machine. We went just from piped shees to the 421s. It does'nt matter how bad your day was cause after surviving a ride on these death machines you know you're really alive. My girlfriend also loves getting the shit scared out of her. Banshees forever! Smeagol Quote
