isn't the 1211 like 20 bucks a tube or something like that? I needed some for my floatbowls so I sent the wife up to the store and she said it was 25.00, so they sold her some other stuff for 5.00.

 

Just wondering if its the same stuff. I know it was a three bond product, I dont recall the number though.

so just a question dont mean to steal thread but im glad you brought it up snop..

im going to put a cometic head gasket on .. what kind of sealer should i use ? do i just put some on my fingers and slide them over the gasket or squize some onto both sides of the gasket?

If its steel, I would just put copper coat on it and call it good.

stock head - nothing, it is a compression gasket and should not require sealant, if it keeps blowning you have other isses, fix the broblem dont hide it with sealant

 

stock base - nothing, the come impregnated with threebond

 

cases - three bond
