I've done a LOT of stock carb conversions... can you shrink that sig pic? It's obnoxiously large...please!!! Did you file the boss you tapped down flat? I use a die grinder and coarse scotchbrite pad, it's very soft aluminum. As long as it's not stripped....you should be able to lock it down fine with the locknut supplied with the idle screw.
