BigRed350x Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 if you dont want to spend the $$ for vforce reeds, port your stock reed cages... Quote
Snopczynski Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 I really dont understand why people port stock reedcages. The petal supports are already pretty sharp edges. Quote
BigRed350x Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 I really dont understand why people port stock reedcages. The petal supports are already pretty sharp edges. Its not that they have sharp edges, its the increased flow you get from opening up the cage. Quote

banshee 4 me Posted October 7, 2007 Report Posted October 7, 2007 I have heard that boost bottles don't work so i think i am going to get a boss intake. That has the cross over tube in it. if you r getting a boss intake, your airbox will not line up as the intake pushes carbs back almost 3/4 inch, then if you push back the airbox, the coolant bottle doesnt line up in the rear fender,im currently trying to figure out how im gonna make my setup work,i want to keep the stock air box and lid,as i trail ride in water and mud Quote
