Flanagans twin Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 hey everyone, i recieved my clutch from jeff at fast today and i started to put it in, i cannot get the clutch plates to go fully into the the inner basket, the springs are fully tight but i cant get the damn center bolt to tighten? what are my steps on the clutch install after i have the plates on and springs on and tight?? thanks guys, this is very frustrating so just trying to see what i have to do next?!? thanks Quote
shee4speed Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 The basket goes on first then the plates then the clutch boss and then the pressure plate with springs. Don't forget the thrust plates,Which are basicly washers. Quote

shee4speed Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 That is way confusing. Any pics? That would help alot. Quote
Snopczynski Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 take the springs back off and move the hub around until it sits flat on the first fiber on top. I dont know what your talking about with the boss thing. Did you get a pancake adjuster or something? Quote
