IROOST1 Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 prestone, never had a problem, even in the dead of winter. Quote
Snopczynski Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 regular antifreeze is hard on the rubber parts in your cooling system. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 engine ice will hold up in the winter as well. anti freeze dose nothing for a cooling agent, its simply to keep the fluid from freezing in the winter. Quote
Washburn Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 Engine Ice has a freeze point of 33 degrese it says so rite on the bottle I wont use it in the winter. I use the Maxima 50/50 blend next spring/summer I will try some engine Ice and hopefully by then I will have my loadline oversize rad. Quote

mr331 Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 Engine Ice has a freeze point of 33 -26 degrese it says so rite on the bottle I wont would use it in the winter. I corrected it for you  If its colder than -26*, I'm not riding and the freeze point is not and issue. I have tested it and Sand Mountain, Nevada at 4* with no issue. Run the Engine Ice, it works great. Quote
