The book says to torque it to 65LBS. What do you guys recommend? By the way (bansheman),I got a new one today.

like i said before i dont torque anything but the headbolts and the 8 bolts on the jugs... everything else i jst tighten till it feel good. something i want to ensure dosent come loose drop a dab of loctite... but its up to you to do it that way or torque them...

I'm thinking this wnot need loctite cuz of the lockwasher.

nah that one doesnt but for other bolts you need it... like i said i dont torque anything but the head and cylinder bolts.. so far no issues

I put mine on with an air impact wrench. :geek:

rip it down with the impact. setting 4 but dont go overkill.

yea just be easy with that impact, iused one to take mine off , and it tried to cross thread on me. had to use thread file on shaft. good luck!

Torqued mine to 66lbs, used the proper tool to hold the Boss in place (Clamped it on, and let it press into the workbench while I cranked the bolt to spec.

since were on the subject what size is that nut??? i couldnt find the right size impact socket i only have up to 20mm. thanks.

1"1/4 fits right on there.

32mm's is the correct size, I don't have that large of an impact either I just picked up the single socket, as there are enough of them on the banshee to invest in the $4 for a nice craftsman socket.
