Tapatalk Posted August 18, 2007 Report Posted August 18, 2007 I live on the east coast and I'm currently "shopping" around for a nice custom banshee. Once in awhile I'll see a really nice one but there all west coast guys selling them. If I buy a quad from say some guy in cali how in the hell do I know if that quad is going to be put on a truck shipped to me after I pay? Or do I and or can I, pay whatever balance through confirmation via truck driver/shipper upon pickup of the quad? Quote
NYUK Posted August 18, 2007 Report Posted August 18, 2007 what exactly are you looking for? duner, dragger , trail bike? Quote
Tapatalk Posted August 18, 2007 Author Report Posted August 18, 2007 (edited) what exactly are you looking for? duner, dragger , trail bike? I'm looking for one that looks and sounds as bad as these. Check out the home page video on www.atvvideos.tv And these Bad Ass Banshees That said, I'm on the east coast and the only sand around is in N.J so quad will be mainly for trail riding, hillclimbing competitions on dirt, and kicking my neighbors ass on his 660 raptor  Just want to buy one complete ready to go. HKIC Posted August 18, 2007 Report Posted August 18, 2007 yea, the only good thing about being on the eastcoast are the trails... and the cheaper banshee prices. over here, banshee are hundreds less than they would be out towards the west Quote

RIPPEN Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 Whos rippen and is he/she a custom builder? Hook me up rippen  I wish I was a custom builder  .. Realisticly man what your after is not that outta control if what "my crew" has is what your after.. Out of my groups bikes mine is the most modded being ported with bigger carbs. If you can find a bike out on the east coast( seem to be way cheaper than out here) get it ported, piped, coolhead, reeds, maybe carbs and walla, you wouldn't be far off.. Especialy considering that footage was taken at 8500 feet so we lose a TON of power .. With how cheep the prices seem to be out there I dont see why a guy couldn't get a bike and do the mods listed for less than 4g's? Happy that you are using our bikes as a standard btw, ill take that as a compliment.. RIPPEN Quote

I'm still a newb  Yeah, I'm just kinda looking around right and need to save a bit more. I found a couple shee's I would have bought already on ebay but still trying to work out some things. Your right though, I dont need anything too radical but certainly want something very nice, fast, and good looking, done and ready to ride. As I mentioned, the majority of the nicer shees I've seen have been mid west to west coast guys selling them. Mainly duners, gotta get out there one day, looks like a ton of fun and wide open, nice!!!!!!! Heres one I'd buy in a second if it were for sale, love it. Told owner to let me know when it hits ebay. I like black and chrome best, but this is just a beauty  http://photos.everything2stroke.com/showph...046&cat=517 PS- you got a link to any other of your vids of you and your friends? Quote
RIPPEN Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 The vid you found was actually my "compilation" vid from last year.. So those are allot of the better clips but linked what I got below.. First vid is actually my latest.. My bike now has a 4mill again ported by Jeff at F.A.S.T. so it does run quite a bit better in this vid, than in others.. http://media.putfile.com/Back-In-Saddle-9 Vid from sept last year http://media.putfile.com/Snowy-Walden Labor day weekend.. http://media.putfile.com/Climbing-Laboryday Kind of a blooper vid.. http://media.putfile.com/eatin-sand Little footage at the end of this clip also.. This was when I first got it going and was still to fat. http://media.putfile.com/DRAGSHILLS-71 RIPPEN Quote
