Leigh Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 i bought a banshee a few weeks ago and on the side of the motor it has trinity stage 4 stamped into it by the cylinder. i dont really know what was done to the quad or what it has for internal mods. but anyways they were runing a B9ES plug. i noticed thats not the right number.. do you think its like that for a reason like maybe it has high compression and it needs less heat. it also fouls plugs every once and a while do you think i should change them for the right plugs?? thanks for any help Quote
chevrolet banshee Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 i think you should go to BR8ES or BR8EG The BR8EG are more pricey but it will run better hoped i helped Quote
FasterThanU90 Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 its just a hotter plug probly ran it to eat up the extra oil id lean the premix ratio u can keep the style of plug try the Denso 9 thats a good plug Quote
Leigh Posted August 6, 2007 Author Report Posted August 6, 2007 thanks for the info. i think i will try the BR8EG and see how it runs Quote

I would suggest checking compression before doing too much. Yes, 8 is the stock heat range but 9 is not uncommon in the dessert. Brandon Quote
