i think my case oil is leaking into the cylinder. if i put automatic transmission fluid in my tranny and it leaked would my plugs turn red? this would be one way i could figure this out if it did.

Why do you think it is leaking into the cylinder, and no if you put trans fluid in your case the plugs won't turn red.

My plugs turn red every once in awhile when I use certain brands of Racing fuel it must be the additives in them.

My plugs become a little pink sometimes...... BUT let me ask you a ? what oil do you use for your premix and what do you mix it at? My plugs turn a little pink when I mix the fuel to rich, I use amsoil dominator (which is redish pink when mixed) normally I run my shee at 50:1 and the plugs turn pink when mixed at 30:1.

Your bansh will smell like a shitty oil burning car if that is the case. In which you probobly blew a crank seal. Happened to me 2 mo. ago. Youll also see more smoke out of that side exhaust!

it constantly fouls plugs. i mixed it 70.1 to see if it would smoke a lot and it does. all electrical is new, gaskets, seals, topend. used a different carb. i`m thinking the center case or cases are cracked feeding oil into the cylinder.

for the most part its only the right side and i use a Ratio Rite Measuring Cup measured at 40.1. ounces i realy dont know but when i mixed 70.1 it wasnt much oil at all. i used automatic tranny fluid today to see what happened and its all over the inside of the plugs. its a much thinner oil. i`m guessing my crank is filled with it. if i`m lucky its only a seal. i would have pulled the cases today to look but this heat is crazy. maby in the morning.

My premix is belray and the oil is Maxima 80wt

thats 42.6:1

 

40:1 would be 6.4 ounces to a 2 gallon.
