Fastchecker Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 (edited) Got a 2006 banshee with k&n filter, no lid, t5 exaust , tors removed and when i do a plug chop the plugs look pretty good but they look a little wet or sooty on the end of the plug and also have oil on the tips of the exaust. Just wondering if that means im to rich or is it that my mix of 32/1 is to much oil. Like i said ive done plug chops and i think they look pretty good (25 pilot and 300 mains- 500 ft above sea level-70-90 degrees. Thxs for any info!!! Edited July 15, 2007 by Fastchecker Quote
bansheerider52 Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 I run my stock shee at 100:1 amsoil. It never gives me any issues at all, but u can only do it wit amsoil. Quote
peak-j Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 Running 32:1 Klotz supertechniplate. 280 mains, if you are a little rich that's okay, as long as you're not fouling plugs out. I'd say ride it a little bit and see if they foul. If they do maybe drop a size on your main and do a plug chop again. Mine has a little oil on the ends of the pipes also. I'm at about 1000ft above sea level. Just my 2 cents. Quote
