Well i needed something cheap to start running at the local 1/8th mile ashphalt drags. Heres what i got, and what do u think??

Duro topfighter tires

Im running a stock swinger, and 15/41 gears. I think i should have plenty of gear with the 21" rear tires.

let us know, bring your knobbies (if they let you) to compair to see how much better they are?

jeex, thanks man! They wont let me run knobbies, or else i wouldnt have spent the cash on these. They look nice and soft though, i hope they hook nice!

heres a funny question what do you guys think of using golt cart tyres for an entry level tarmac drag banshee? i have like 3 sets of golf cart tyres sitting in my garage with nothing to put them on. they are 18x8.5-8 carlslyle brand. i bet they are not the stickiest tyres in the world but they sure do have low rolling resistance. a set of 8 inch wheels are about $50-$60 for a pair of cheapies.

should i give these golf cart tyres a shot?

also what is a good tyre for the front of a banshee, prefer to use stock wheels because im a cheap ass (why else would i ask about golf cart tyres haha). i was thinking maybe some worn out knobbies, can pick those up for nearly free on ebay.

someone tell me im not crazy.

I would think they arent speed rated very high & that would suck on the big end

That's a bunch of crap. Our's lets us run regular tires. 87, let me know what times you run once you go. I havent gotten a change to go to the track yet since my port job etc.
