fox_forma
dont really know exactly what your saying but what size carbs are you running? You were going to change your jetting so you only bought one 190 jet? Did you try to only switch one jet out or something? Doesnt make sense to me so maybe I'm just reading your post wrong or is that what you are trying to explain?

tedd1
Hmmm...if it runs better with the choke on it is already lean. Are you sure your air filter is secure in the box and getting a good seal? Is the air filter clean? Have you done a plug chop? What is it doing that makes you think it is rich? If it is box stock I would think that 200 or 210 mains with a 25 pilot would get you started. If it hesitates when you mash the gas raise the needle a notch. If it blubbers (technical term) when you mash the gas lower it a notch. If your machine is completely stock I doubt seriously that the jetting is off. If it is not running right I would think your problem is elsewhere. 350BANSHEE350
well my plugs are black sometimes my air screws are out about 2 1/2 with snorkle off its an 07 so i doubt it has any other problems i was just wondering if i raised my needels a clip that it would lean it out enough i guess that if they are dark brown that it is ok to run like that? how bad is it to run it a tad rich for ever? would i go threw top ends more or would i see no evect? can anyboy else help thanks Mike
jmd0346
If you're stock I wouldnt touch it. It sounds to me like you're lean though if anything. Since the choke being pulled out helps it. Pulling out the choke gives you less air which mean the mix is richer. I wouldnt suggest going down on the jet size. If anything go up one or two sizes and see how it runs. A little rich = good A little lean = bad Youll never get your jetting perfect. Its impossible. There are to many variables. Whats perfect on one day maybe rich or lean the next. Run a tad rich and you'll never have to worry.
350BANSHEE350
no man it runs better when i was 11 degrees out not 20 at about 14 degrees out it runs a little worse with the choke on if it is like 25 out it hardly runs with choke on stage
fastrthnu
plug chop for your mains, the set your needle, then tune you air screws. Do a search on PROPER plug chops. It doesnt matter what color your plugs are now.
