FireHead Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 If I'm not mistaken, he sold the triple and it's design... This is correct. I suspect you will see one or two of those engines running at Laughlin in November. I noticed that the cases are being sold in a slightly modified manner on the front page of someone's website. Atleast it looks like the folks I sold it to are being fairly proactive about using the design and marketing it. I am glad that the project didn't die when I sold it. Otherwise, I might have had to kick myself for selling it. The frame I bought for that engine is getting the Twister engine that is collecting dust on my bench. :ermm: Quote
djackbanshee Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 Yes Lots Of $$ And lot's of time to cut the cases . Everything has to be in line I just like the special look it has . Makes people turn there heads. Don't look at the wooden struts (missing shocks) lol Quote

FireHead Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 got a link? No, sorry. I really can't say anything about it. If you look hard enough you will find it. Quote
Boston Racing Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 Majicmikes cranker was running the same speeds at walden as an 18mil banshee. K&T has one that ran 86mph up sand mountain. Crankers friggin move out. Your facts are a bit off, I ran 81 several times and the Cranker had a best of 66. Hopefully with some little changes it will be faster, but that statement is not right. Boston Racing Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 Have you ever been to Walden? I was camping with Mike the first time he ran the bike at Walden a month ago. Mike and I are friends. Were you referring to me "theshee" or another 18mm since Memorial day? Quote

Were you referring to me "theshee" or another 18mm since Memorial day? I am not talking about anyone really. Seems like you were there in person with him and he did such and such a time. Maybe since then he has done better against another 18mil. Who knows. Quote
