Mine is pitted and rust has set in on the pits! It has very few hours on it. Hard spot to have any chrome, I guess. Quote
shee4speed Posted June 16, 2007 Author Report Posted June 16, 2007 Thinking about a chrome swinger.Same shit gonna happen? Quote
Skidmark Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 looks like you guys have never heard of the miracle known as electrical tape. lol Quote
NYUK Posted June 17, 2007 Report Posted June 17, 2007 some areas dirt and such is friggin toxic to chrome and alum. upstate pennsylvania has this red clay that corrodes alum. i never seen anything like it. went upstate with shiny polished alum rims and came home with rims that looked like lead.dull gray. ClimbAnyHill Posted June 17, 2007 Report Posted June 17, 2007 I ride some rocky trails but don't think they compare to Cinders but I don't have that problem on my axle. But I have the G Force not Lonestar. I don't mind it's a bit heavier, I don't really drag but happy finish didn't go dull or chip in any conditions. Try calling Lonestar about it. Do they provide any warranty? Quote
shee4speed Posted June 17, 2007 Author Report Posted June 17, 2007 Yeah I can ask them if its covered.I think only warranted against bending or breaking. Quote

XxMeltIcexX Posted June 17, 2007 Report Posted June 17, 2007 That is bullshit, especially the price you pay for one of those, it should hold up ALOT better than that. Call them back, complain, get a Gforce axle  - i want one really bad.. but ill refrain myself from spending another dime on my shee until septmeber.. Eric Quote
shee4speed Posted June 17, 2007 Author Report Posted June 17, 2007 I'll call them Monday.Fortunately they are local here in Phoenix. Quote

Eric My G-Force held up pretty decent, but it will still pit. When it gets really bad I'll probably just have it PCed, thats the only thing that holds up here in the Northeast. As for not spending any money, how are you gonna ride with no pipes?? Quote
