floydfan_90 Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 I think im lacking power I just finished my build about a month ago and finally got to run my first drag race (on asphalt) it was a yfz with a pipe and filter and cam and I beat him of course but not by nearly as much as I think my shee is capable of. Gearing or bump my compression up? Also it will barly bring the front end up in fifth im new to the banshee world quads for that mater, but that doesn Quote
dynodon Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 Need more motor info to try to help..... We have no idea what your running. Even with whats listed in your mods, I would start with your under carbed. Running asphalt, do you have billet bowls, or even one of the floats cut off ???? If no fuel there, It definately wont go. example, I have 39mm kehins, with billet bowls, and one of the floats cut off in each carb on a 4 mil Quote
bigboybanshee Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 Bumping up your compression and advancing your timing will give you a noticeable power gain. That would be my first choice  Quote
shanYE west Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 Bumping up your compression and advancing your timing will give you a noticeable power gain. That would be my first choice  I agree.. From the looks of your set-up your not just drag racing. Compression and timing would compliment your current mods. Quote
yfzdunejumper Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 I would also consider a new pipe after you get your fuel and gearing down. That pipe is leaving a lot on the table with that setup. What times and speeds did you run. What gearing? Quote
