fastrthnu Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 Was out riding for awhile and then all the sudden my rear tire passed me up. The ONE time I didnt bring my tool bag and was riding out alone. Lucky for me it was a busy day out in the woods and I got a tow back to my tailer. ALWAYS bring your tools. Now I need a new rim  and cat ride for a few more weeks! SOB! Quote
5150banshee Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 SOB!!!!it always happens that way,never fails. Quote
dawarriorman Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 hey at least you didn't wreck. I still can't bend my knee from last week. Quote
sandmouse Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 at least someone gave you a tow back in. heck my flywheel came off out in the middle of our riding area and i had to ride my wifes pink blaster back in and get a tow strap and ride all the way back out to her. meanwhile (mental picture) a woman broke down in the middle of the riding area. i got back too her and asked if anyone came by to assist and she said plenty of people came be but no one stopped. so i hooked the shee up to the blaster and started heading back in. well we eventually got stuck and some one was behind us, we all stopped and that dude asked me if i had a spark plug wrench and socket on my bike because his buddy was broke down. i was like hell no. do you believe that crap. i know it probably wasnt him or his buds fault but i was like the nerve of these folks. so if i go back out there and a red/white banshee passes you without stopping its not your fault. this is probably not the way to be but  Quote

Washburn Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 Sucks man but it could be alot worse. Ive pushed my LT250R back with noone stoping for miles. I now stand in front of people so they cant move around me screw flaging them down and tell them the story. I never leave anyone behind either. It sucks and I know how it is. I pulled a cr125 a few miles on saturday. Just went real slow blew my carbs out when I was done and changed plugs. Quote
fastrthnu Posted June 4, 2007 Author Report Posted June 4, 2007 yea, alot of people are dicks. I just needed a 14mm or whatever the nuts are and I could have taken one off each tire and made it back, but everyone who went buy thought I was just waving hi with my tire on the seat I guess. I rode it for about a mile before some guy stopped me. I was sitting on the front facing the rear holding the tire looking over my shoulder and trying to ride out lol. Also, are raptor, 450, warrior, rims the same size, offset, and bolt pattern as banshee stock? Quote

All the same bolt pattern yes Quote
r/atvshee Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Your story kinda sounds like what happened to me on memo. weekend. The one day that i decide to ride by myself and the day that isnt the busiest. I decide to go to a nearby hill and take one last run up it, next thing i know the front sproket came off at the top of the hill. I just coast it back down the hill and go to some shade. I sat for about 20 mins calling people that i was camping with, until shee4speed comes and tows me. I didnt know it was him until a couple days ago. But its always best to ride with someone else and not by yourself. Quote
Animalman294 Posted June 6, 2007 Report Posted June 6, 2007 Well, if it looks to me like you are broke down I will stop, not just because its the right thing to do but I would hope you would stop for me.................... Quote
