Lethaface Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 (edited) My little brother had the same year shee and we did the same thing to his..Even has the same yellow wheels.. Got a really good tip for you.. Aircraft remover will take that shit off with no work at all.. Just apply it with a paint brush and it instantly starts breaking off the wheel..Then just spray them off with a water hose.. After that a little wet sanding and your golden.. This is the stuff you need.. This was little brothers wheels.. Before After.. Cost about $15 to do this and a bout 3 hours time.. When his looked like your's.. Edited May 21, 2007 by Lethaface Quote
Cykotik Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 Lethaface those rims turn out good... Magunit i would give that a shot... looks good man other then the rim haha Quote
magunit420 Posted May 22, 2007 Author Report Posted May 22, 2007 Lethaface those rims turn out good...Magunit i would give that a shot... looks good man other then the rim haha oh yah im deffinetly gonna hook the rims up with the remover...i think they`ll like that..as far as the paint i just got 3 cans of kylon fusion its suppoes to be for plastics anyways i took a heat gun and the 11 year old decals off which was a bitch but it worked... so i just did a little sanding on the rears since they get more torture then the rest of the bike...and rattlecanned it....if i was gonna do it all over i wouldnt sand the rears because you can see every little scratch even though i used like some 300 grit papaer or something like that very smootth but anyways i would maybe take a little more time and a finer grit paper and wet sand it...but i wasnt patient enough....but for the front pllastic i just soaked them in hot hot soapy water in the tub and rinced really good and let air dry and sprayed them...they turned out like glass i was very suprised and after a week the paint should be chip resistant but i mean how much dirt and rocks hits the side and i cut the fronts and smoothed out the edges with the sander just got sick of the gay ass purple and the stock decals.. but its a good change...it looks pretty good with the chrome paddles on there..ill get somepics up Quote
