IROOST1 Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 i am switching to 28 pwks on one of my banshee's and want to know a baseline jetting to start at. vitos pistons stock porting coolhead, 19 domes alum airbox, no lid k&n filter boost bottle fmf gold series pipes 110 race gas, 50:1 amsoil 800 ft above sea level 75-80 degrees about Quote
burleybanshee Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 I would put a 52 pilot and a 152 main. Probably end up with a 150 main with stock porting, but 152 should be safe with those mods you have. Quote

IROOST1 Posted May 17, 2007 Author Report Posted May 17, 2007 that seems rich on the pilot and lean on the main. i ordered a variety so i have 45-52 pilots and 142-172 mains. i was thinking 48 pilots and 160 mains but ill try the 52 and 152. Quote
burleybanshee Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 The 28pwk and their clone 30mm oko, that I have, need bigger pilots than the bigger pwk's do. I am running a 58 pilot in my 4mil long rod and a 162 main. Had a 55 pilot and the low end was real crisp and the sniffer on the dyno told me it was a little lean, 58 was perfect after i played with the needle. That is also at about 70 degrees at 400 foot elevation. Quote
Rock-46 Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 I'm running 48 pilot and 158 mains on mine. Milled head Dune Port T5's K&N pods, etc. Quote
locogato11283 Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 45 pilot and 160 main. that should get you really close. all the pwk carbs jet almost the same. ive run 33-39 and always used the same pilot (45) and 158 to 162 main. im about 1000 feet above sea level and 70 - 80 degrees. Quote
